“I have initiated a 100% refund through Paypal. There was no one at the airport to pick us up. BestDay and BD Experience would not accept our tickets. They said they no longer do business with Viator. We spent an hour trying to find Viator or someone else to help. We ended up spending 100 US to get to the ferry 45 US for the ferry (2 people) and $20 US to get to the hotel for a total of $165 US (one way). The only phone number we had was for BD Experience. BD Experience told us we had been scammed.”

“In general, it was a pleasant one day trip, however, due to the weather conditions it took us two hours instead of one to get to Isla Mujeres. The check-in was a bit chaotic and took quite some time (1 hour waiting time). Food, drinks and activities on the island were ok, however, departure time at 17.30 felt a bit late.”

“The transportation runs really smoothly, however, our large bus had poor air conditioning at the rear of the bus. Breakfast was ok, a sandwich, a biscuit and a piece of fruit and a drink, just enough really. We arrived at the ferry and it was ready to depart, which was good and only took 20 minutes. It’s a 10 minute walk from the port to the golf cart hire shop or a 70 Peso taxi, we took the taxi! All I can say about the golf carts is, every tourist driving them has a smile on their face, they were amazing fun. We then returned the golf carts and met…”
